Students of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul generally visit Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine as part of excursion.

As per the decision of the Governing Council, it was decided to organize their education cum religious tours all across India on religious places. Therefore, the students of smvd Gurukul are taken to education cum religious tour of religious places alongwith Acharyas wherein they are given exposure about the history of the place and its religious value.

The students are taken to religious tours from time to time on rotational basis in the summer season.
