A Governing Council for the Gurukul was constituted, with the approval of Hon'ble Chairman, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board with Mahamandleshwar Shri Swami Vishveshvaranand Giriji Maharaj, Member, SMVDSB as Chairman and 07 other Members including Prof. Yugal Kishore Mishra, (Former Vice Chancellor, JR Rashtriya Sanskrit University, Jaipur), Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB, Addl. Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB, Prof. Vishwa Murti Shastri, (Former Principal, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Jammu), among others. The Governing Council is mandated to oversee the functioning of Gurukul and provide necessary guidance from time to time.
