The Governing Council of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul has decided to frame Alumni Association of the Gurukul students in order to make sure that some of the students who will not be able to continue in Gurukul after Class 12th, may remain in touch with the institution through Alumni Association. It was also decided that all the students who may leave Gurukul after Class 12th shall be invited for attending Annual Function after which meeting of the students may also be convened for interaction.

Accordingly, Alumni Association has been framed / constituted comprising of President, Vice-President, General Secretary and Cashier from SMVD Gurukul Students alongwith two active Members of the faculty of the Gurukul. Rest students are members of the Alumni association. The Alumni Association has been kept un- registered for the time being and to be operated independently for the Gurukul. The Alumni association shall meet every year on the occasion of Annual Day Function of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul. Further, Rs.1,000/- as one time registration fee and Rs.200/- as annual fee has been kept for the members of the Alumni Association and the said amount have been deposited with the cashier of the association.ited for attending Annual Function after which meeting of the students may also be convened for interaction.
